RE: Adding an actor to the interactive viewer of Imp [ reply ]

Hi,

This is what I implemented after going through the meshcontour project.

As I want to draw a line on a single image slice and not show the “over flowing” portion of the contour on other neighboring slices, I listen to the selectionChanged( ) signal of the viewer and turn the contour widget on or off accordingly.

Thank you again for the pointer,
Prasad.

Hi Jean-Loup,

Thank you very much for your pointer. The meshcontour project is really interesting and it answers many questions that I was faced with.

Warm Regards,
Prasad.

Hello,

About what you want to do, you may have a lot of information in a Mahnu's CEP meshprojection on camitk-incubator [1]. In deed, you will find some cade usage to draw a contour on image slices.

Hope this help,

Jean-Loup

Adding an actor to the interactive viewer of Imp [ reply ]

Hi All,

I wish to add a vtkPolyLine to each slice of the axial viewer of Imp.

When you add a single line, it is not only seen on the expected slice but it propagates to a number of neighboring slices as well.

When the image spacing is 1 mm, the actor propagates to 5 more slices (6 total slices) whereas when the spacing is 3 mm, the propagation stops at 2 additional slices (3 total slices). I checked Viewer.h and InteractiveViewer.h source code in the hope of finding the cause of this behavior without success.

It would be great if you could guide me how to limit the appearance of an actor only to a single slice.

Thank you in advance,
Prasad.

Given below is my configuration:

- CamiTK version......................... CamiTK 4.0.4
- CamiTK Short Version................... camitk-4.0
- CamiTK SO NAME......................... 4
- Operating System....................... LINUX
- Build type............................. RELEASE
- QT Version............................. 5.8.0
- VTK Version............................ 6.3.0
